The Illuminati would be the top players around the International playground, basically of the thirteen in the wealthiest families on the planet, and they are generally the men that really rule the world from behind the curtain (yes, these are mostly men, with a few exceptions).

Those are the REAL Decision Makers, who from the rules for presidents and governments to check out, plus they are often held from public scrutiny, as their action do not like scrutiny.

They're connected by bloodlines going back thousands and thousands of years with time, and they are generally mindful keeping those bloodlines as pure as possible from one generation to another. The best way to do so is as simple as interbreeding.

 That is why you so frequently see royalties marry royalties, as an example. Their parents decide whom their kids should marry. Their capability is based on the occult, (magic rituals) plus economy - money creates power. The Illuminati own each of the International banks, the oil-businesses, the best businesses of industry and trade, they infiltrate politics and education and they also own most governments - or anyway control them. They will own Hollywood and also the Music business.
