Afghans using their Air Force to smuggle drugs?

The Afghan Air Force, using their planes and helicopters to transport drugs and arms around the country for the corrupt drug Czars in the government there. The Wall Street Journal had a great piece today on this whole thing and guess what? Remember the two Air Force Mentors who were murdered in cold blood in the Ministry of the Interior hallways because of the “Quran burnings” as claimed by the press? Not looking like that at all. I guess Lieutenant Colonel Frank Bryant started his own investigation into the unauthorized use of military assets related to criminal activities. He worked for the Combined Air Power Transition Force over at Camp Eggers. I went to a bunch of their briefs during my time there and thought it was cool that they could fly the Hind’s and other aircraft (lucky AF guys) for their tour there. Guys, this Officer was onto something and was murdered to cover up the facts of what President Karzai’s folks are doing. When you are talking about the amount of money that is made from the drugs in Afghanistan, it’s like the wild wild west there and they wouldn't hesitate to take out some Americans in order to protect their profits, just like drug runners in any other country. They are making Billions, again with a capital B on the trade and we can’t do a thing about it. Your tax payer dollars (over 20 Billion dollars) have gone into the training and equipping of the Afghan forces. They say that over $1.9 Billion has been given to the Air Wing of the Afghan forces. That is a lot of money being spent to pump up a bunch of corrupt drug runners. The incident last year where Col Gul from the Afghan A.F. murdered eight officers from Camp Eggers most likely is related to this drug trafficking and he was about to be exposed. Of course al Qaeda took responsibility for the murders but I am not sure that is who was behind it. Maybe it’s about time we take an accounting of what monster the United States has created in Kabul. How much money and lives will be lost to support Karzai and his corrupt Generals and Ministers? [Editor's note: Keep in mind that this money is being spent when we have a record debt and deficit. In other words, we have absolutely no money, yet they continue to spend it like we do. Furthermore, Americans are being put in the line of fire every day in the name of the "War on Terror" in Afghanistan and elsewhere, when in actuality we are not doing anything to fight terrorism. We are just providing endless profit for the corrupt war profiteers here and the criminals over there. Any way you look at it, we are doing nothing positive.
